The circular route was mostly off road going out on the west side of Kirkdale & Bransdale and returning down Rudland Rigg, in the east, to Gillamoor & Kirkbymoorside.
The route measured 33 miles and took a leisurely 4 hours 23 minutes.

Looking south along the track I had cycled along. You can cycle this ridge, Rudland Rigg, eventually dropping down to Gillamoor and Kirkbymoorside. It's about 8 miles to Gillamoor. |
I went west from here for about 1.5 miles to the Round Hill Trig Point at 595016. |
